At Veritext, nothing is more important than your overall sense of well-being. This site provides an overview of your benefit options for the 2025 plan year. Please utilize the resources here to help you make decisions on your plan elections for both you and your family. We urge you to take advantage of the broad range of available features and plans.
YOU CAN ENROLL IN BENEFITS:
- As a new hire
- During Open Enrollment in the fall
- Within 60 days of a qualified life event
If you miss the enrollment deadline, or do not notify the People Team within 60 days of a Qualified Life Event (QLE), you’ll need to wait until the next Open Enrollment (the one time each year that you can make changes to your benefits for any reason).
Changing your benefits?
When can you sign up or change your benefits?
You have the opportunity to enroll in benefits the first of the month following 30 days of employment and again during the annual Open Enrollment period. Once the enrollment period has closed, you can no longer change your benefits for the plan year, unless you experience a qualifying life event. If you experience a qualifying life event, you have 60 days from the event date to make changes to your benefits.
Please notify the People Team at people@veritext.com of the qualifying event as soon as possible.
Qualifying events include but are not limited to:
- Marriage, divorce or legal separation
- Birth or adoption
- A change in a child's dependent status due to age, work or school status
- Death of a plan participant
- Losing or gaining coverage elsewhere (example: a spouse loses his or her coverage through his or her employer)
- Reduction in the number of hours of employment
Who is eligible for benefits?
Employees:
All employees who work 25 hours or more per week are eligible to enroll themselves, spouses, domestic partners and eligible dependents up to age 26.
Dependent Verification:
Veritext requires employees to verify their dependents' status for new enrollees and new dependents joining the plan as of January 1, 2025 only. Please click HERE to see a list of acceptable documents to verify documents.
